Q + A

Where should I stay in St Louis?

There are many wonderful areas to stay in St Louis! The welcome party on Saturday will be held at 21C Museum Hotel, which is a great place to stay! Further hotel and Airbnb recommendations can be found in the 'travel' section. We do not have an extended room block available.

What do I need to know about the welcome party?

All of our guests are invited to join us for a welcome celebration on Saturday evening! This will be from 7-10pm at the 21C Museum Hotel. There is valet parking available ($8). The 21C Museum Hotel is a fun modern art gallery and we would love for our guests' attire to match this aesthetic! Think fun cocktail hour with friends, doesn't need to be too fancy! There will be drinks and light fare but not a full dinner service at the party.

What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

The dress code for wedding day is summer cocktail attire, romantic garden party. Fun colors and floral patterns are encouraged! We suggest avoiding high heels, as there will be grassy areas at the ceremony site - and you will want comfortable shoes to dance in!

Will there be parking or transportation available?

For the welcome party there is street parking and there will be valet parking available at 21C ($8). For the ceremony at Weddings on Magnolia, there is some on site and plenty of additional street parking. You may also Uber/Lyft/carpool to the wedding ceremony. We will have transportation buses to bring guests from Weddings on Magnolia to Wild Carrot at 4:30-5PM. There will be buses after the reception to bring guests back to their cars at Weddings on Magnolia, or to an after party! We ask you not to drive to Wild Carrot as parking is limited.

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive to the ceremony by 3:30PM at the latest. The garden will open at 3PM. We will have refreshments in the garden prior to the ceremony starting promptly at 4PM.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

We have chosen for our wedding to be an adults-only celebration to ensure all guests, especially parents, can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the evening. Thank you for understanding!

What if there is inclement weather on the wedding day?

As we know weather in STL can be unpredictable! In the unfortunate event there is inclement weather on Sunday, we will have both the wedding ceremony and reception indoors at Wild Carrot. We will reach out to you via email as soon as this decision is made.

What will the dinner options be?

We will be serving a family style meal at each table with options for various diets. There will be an option to indicate any allergies via your RSVP.
