It was Andrew and Gisselle's first year of high school, and life was direly lonesome and boring. Then, Andrew and Gisselle sat at the same cafeteria table, and the world lit up with color. Being in the same geometry class, the pair quickly became friends, and after Gisselle asked for Andrew's number when he got his first phone, they soon became inseparable.

When their parents indicated that there might be something more than a friendship developing, they fought against the allegations, but after a year of knowing each other, Andrew asked Gisselle to be his girlfriend in the Sulphur Springs High School hallway. From there, life became a true adventure, and the relationship continued to blossom.

Their relationship faced new trials in 2020, when Andrew went to get his B.S. in Computer Science in Tulsa, Oklahoma, while Gisselle pursued a degree in Public Health in College Station, Texas. The long-distance added new burdens to the relationship, but with consistent communication, faithful FaceTimes, tons of tears, and the occasional seven-hour drive, God managed to use the experience to make their relationship stronger.

After three long years, Andrew finally graduated, moved down to College Station and began to work, instantly saving up for the proposal. After getting the blessing of Gisselle's mom and his parents, Andrew bought a ring and orchestrated a proposal in Georgetown, TX, and begged Gisselle to be his wife. She said yes, and legend says the two are scheming to this day.
