Joey and I met at a Halloween party in Somerset, WI in Oct. 2015. We hit it off and continued talking after the party. We went out on our first date in November. We officially became a couple on November 20, 2015.

After dating for several years, Joey proposed to me in my parent's backyard on August 30, 2020. I thought I was doing a photo shoot with my friend & family photographer, Lexi (bridesmaid), to announce my pregnancy with Lydia. My mom and sister, Hailey forcefully encouraged me to do my nails and hair that morning. I refused as I was pregnant, tired and not having it, so my mom painted my nails instead. I then went down to join Elijah and Joey in the backyard for our photo shoot. We took several photos of our family with the pregnancy announcement and then my parents had Elijah join them off to the side. When I turned back around, Joey was on one knee with the most beautiful ring. He proposed and I started crying. I was so happy and excited. It was a wonderful day and will go down as one of my favorites of all time.

We've now been together 8+ years and have experienced a lot of life together, including bringing two beautiful children into the world. We have had many ups and downs throughout these years, but our love continues to flourish and grow throughout it all. We are excited to get married and share our day with all of our loved ones!
