Our Wedding

We first met while working together at O’Hare International Airport, where every shift seemed a little brighter in each other’s company. Andriy balanced his full-time job there with Amazon Flex as a side hustle, enjoying the calm of driving around on empty roads, while Vanessa passed the time playing Animal Crossing with her sisters - basically preparing for real life by shaking trees for money, catching bugs, and making monthly payments to a raccoon in a sweater vest. Despite our busy schedules, we made time to go out one Sunday… and the rest was history! The year 2020 brought challenges for everyone. We were cautiously looking forward to better times as the world was slowly moving past the pandemic and hope was once again very much alive. Going out was not easy - most people preferred staying home - but we decided to take a chance. That one decision turned into countless memories, adventures, and laughter together. From late-night conversations to cheering at hockey games, from long walks to traveling and dreaming side by side, we built something real and lasting. What started as coworkers sharing shifts became a love story that grew stronger with every chapter - proof that even in uncertain times, love finds its way!
