Ever fed a bison? Want to be surrounded by bunnies? Now’s your chance!
Located down the street from the wedding venue, the Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary is a great place for families to enjoy a nice walk and see all sorts of animals, big and small. Pay a few extra bucks for some lettuce and carrots to feed to the deer, goats, and bison!

Unfortunately, the pandas are leaving in October. There are still a lot of neat animals to see, though!
We recommend entering Grant Park Gateway Parking Deck into your GPS. Parking in front of the zoo is quite limited, but the parking deck behind the zoo has lots of space! Parking is $10.

There may not be as much to see in December, but they have some wonderful greenhouses, including one with a full wall of orchids. However, they do have a wonderful holiday lights event. Tickets for that are on sale now! They only have a limited number, so it may be sold out by December.
