Andy and I played in a volleyball league together and met through mutual friends. We ended up at a few of the same events our friends hosted and starting chatting. Thank goodness for Snapchat because that was the only way Andy had communicated for awhile. I finally asked him why he only talks via snapchat and he said, "I know my messages go through." I thought, oh man, what a stalker but I found out what he meant by his messages going through. His phone service sucked and didn't always send his messages. We spent the winter months going to $5 movies at the Avon, eating at El Rodeo, playing games and staying up late at his house - a place he shared with 2 other guys, watching Disney movies, traveling to Ultimate Frisbee competitions - we have fun together!

Andy & I both enjoy playing volleyball. We played on different teams for a couple years and I remember hating trying to return his serves. Power hitter, who left bruises. Andy liked my moves so much though that I ended up on his team and look at us now... same team in volleyball and in life. All we do is win, win, win ... wait... but really that's what we do because we have each other and that's a win!

Andy found himself an ice queen - he didn't know what he was getting into when we met but he decided to pursue anyways. He pursued me with a pure heart. He treated me with kindness and showed compassion. He broke down the walls I built around my heart that were so high and thick - I thought nothing would ever find it's way to my soul. But here he is - loving me with the fiercest love I've ever experienced. Loving me like Jesus loves me... the ice began to melt, the heart began to beat again, my soul came alive and that is how our story began...
