Mimi Tran
Mimi Tran - Matron of Honor
Eileen and Mimi first crossed paths during a dull biology class at the UH Honors College, where they were introduced through a mutual friend. They quickly discovered a shared hobby for cosplaying, which solidified their friendship when they eventually met up at an anime con. Embracing their inner geek, they nicknamed themselves the Powerpuff Girls— Mimi as Bubbles and Eileen as Blossom. As the years went by, their friendship grew through many unforgettable moments, like attending the first Hello Kitty Con in LA, being first in line for the Hello Kitty Cafe truck, enduring the seemingly endless line for Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, and enjoying numerous banh mi and boba dates in Chinatown. Despite the physical distance that separated them later in their friendship, they always kept their connection strong and close to their hearts. Eileen became more than just a best friend to Mimi; she became a sister. When Andy entered the picture, it was only natural that Mimi met him at an anime convention during his visit to Houston, instantly recognizing why Andy and Eileen are a great match for each other. Today, Mimi feels incredibly privileged to stand by Eileen's side as she embarks on this new journey with Andy. Here’s to celebrating love, friendship, and many more adventures together!

Eileen and Na met at a pharmacy school interview in Kingsville, Texas. They were too young and naïve to realize they were on the life-dooming path to become retail pharmacists. Na thought it was sweet that Eileen's mom accompanied her to the interview and that Eileen was so friendly and not competitive like some other weirdos. Ultimately both ended up attending Texas Tech Pharmacy School and became close during P3 and P4 year thanks to Foodie Fridays, Kappa Psi events, and mutual friends. When Eileen moved to Longview for a job, they became even closer eating at Panda Korea, discussing Sylvester, and canceling plans on each other (haha). Na is still bitter that Andy has taken Eileen away to California and plans to object during the wedding. In all seriousness, Na couldn't be happier that Eileen has found her forever person that both shares her interests and pushes her out of her comfort zone. Can't wait to celebrate with you both!

Where do I even start? My friendship with Eileen started during our U of H days and I can’t say how much I appreciate having a friend like Eileen. She is so caring, thoughtful, warmhearted, and kind. She’s always been there for me; always lend an ear and listen to me vent about all sort of problems. I am forever grateful to have someone like Eileen in my life. I was sad when Eileen decided that she will move to California to be with Andy, but I know that deep down this is something big and something worthwhile. I’ve lost an eating and Boba drinking buddy, but for her happiness, I’m willing to share her to you Andy. *LOL J/K* I know that she’s found her traveling partner, a cosplay partner, and a partner in life. You guys are great for each other. I love seeing the smiles in the wedding photos. I know that you guys will be happy together, building an empire together! I cannot wait to see you guys on your big day!

The start of how Eileen and I have crossed paths must have been during our pre-pharmacy association days at UH. This is at the same school that led us to meet the close friends that we have come to cherish and appreciate as we go through our journey through adulthood. When she introduced Andy to our group of friends, I knew that Eileen had met someone special. I have gotten to see their love grow closer as we met and gathered for our get togethers, as we travelled together to different places -- that Eileen had fallen in love with Andy. I remembered how much Eileen cared for Andy when we tried to find a place to eat and how truly impressive that Eileen knew exactly what type of food Andy can eat and cannot eat and then her excitement when we can find a restaurant that everyone can enjoy. I am so happy to be a part of Eileen and Andy's journey as they get married and continue their life together as bride and groom. With much love, Kim

Eileen and I met during our undergraduate studies at the University of Houston. We met in Biodiversity class learning and discussing various topics that neither Eileen nor I use daily in their careers! The best thing to come out of that class was our friendship and the friend circle that we still hang out with. Eileen and I share a passion for cats, good food, and boba drinks. Eileen is one of the kindest, most caring, genuine, and hard-working individuals that I have the honor of calling my friend. I see how much she and Andy care for each other and could not be more happy for this new chapter in their lives. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness to Eileen and Andy!
Christopher Sato
Christopher Sato - Best Man
As the Best Man/Big Brother, cannot be more excited to partake in and celebrate this day that is mere months away! My family and I have been very grateful to witness Andy and Elieen’s relationship blossom over time. I remember meeting Eileen, dinner at our family's favorite restaurant in town, Biba. My son was an infant at the time, and now he's about to be a first grader. Life changes quickly, just like relationships. From a long distance courtship to moving in together to now getting married, Andy and Eileen's story is an inspiration and I am honored to be a part of the ceremony and festivities! I look forward to seeing family and friends bestow their love and support on the happy couple and watching my brother marry the woman he loves. Congratulations Andy and Eileen!

David and Andy first met in kindergarten. They have been through many adventures ranging from Nerf, Magic cards, Anime and traveling to Japan. There is also an infamous photo of Andy and David with lime green saltwater sandals…

Great friend. Bad dating advice giver. Andy is only getting married because he didn't listen to a single thing Chris said. The lifelong journey as friends began before we even started college and got off to an interesting start (Manzanita!). But, it's continued to be as solid as ever, even if there was great distance between us at times. Forever grateful for your friendship, kindness, and excited to see what lies ahead for you and future wife!
Christina Ng
Christina Ng - Groomswoman
Andy met Christina in college. They soon realized that they were both bad at math and thanks to a now mutual friend, Michael (who gave Christina a Totoro shirt that she wore to class one day), they also realized that they both liked anime. That was the beginning of the end. Fast forward many years, lost convention badges, and adventures later, they are somehow still friends and somehow Andy is still alive. This is partly due to pure luck but also because he met Eileen who actually cares about keeping him alive. Both Christina and Andy agree that this is the greatest thing that Andy has ever done with his life. Ever. Some conversations that capture the spirit of their friendship: [Christina is driving, Andy is in the front seat, Tony is asleep in the backseat] Christina: Andy, dude, I don't know where we are. Andy: Ah... I don't know either. Tony : You made 3 lefts so you're right back where you started. Christina and Andy: Oh. Andy and Christina get brunch at a new cafe in Sacramento. Christina: Ooooo! This Thai omlette looks good! They even put peanut sauce in it. Andy: *Death Glare* (Omlette was ordered and consumed. It was delicious.) Andy: What cosplays you bringing [to fanime]? Christina: Oh right, we need to coordinate. Andy: Dude. I met a girl. Christina: Oh, that's good! Andy: She lives in Texas. Christina: I thought you had a location filter on your app? Andy: I did! But she was visiting family in California. Christina: Wow, your location filter failed you. And it was the best thing that ever happened to him :)
Evan Wallis
Evan Wallis - Groomsman
Andy once drove 7 hours through a snowstorm to visit Evan.  Neither time nor distance will ever be a barrier between Evan and Andy’s friendship. Their history is long, and their height discrepancy even longer. As kids, Evan and Andy bonded on the soccer field and over the music of Blackstreet.  Evan and Andy whiled away summers and late nights on Moss Drive tapping mana, smashing buttons, and bricking threes. Evan and Andy once translated “Dos Equis” as “Two Horses” and now they always will.  Evan and Andy selflessly removed excess (and often expired…) Halloween candy from Andy’s mom’s stash. Ok, that last one was mostly Evan.  But Evan and Andy have so much history they deserve one of those combined names like celebrity couples…Ev-An has a nice ring to it. Andy, I will forever be your friend and I’m excited to be able to stand beside you and Eileen on this wonderful day! Love you buddy.
