The dress code for our wedding is black-tie optional. We ask that men wear a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress.

Please avoid dresses that are traditionally reserved for the bride (whites, ivory, patterned dresses that are mostly white) or emerald green.

We love photos! However, we do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #afarahtalewedding so we can see them too! We also have a wedding instagram that you can tag @afarahtalewedding

The ceremony starts at 2:30, however, we kindly ask for all guests to please arrive and be seated by 2:15.

Of course! However, we kindly request no photos be posted until after the ceremony.

We kindly request that only family stay after the ceremony for photos. Family will be notified of this beforehand. We would love to take photos with all of our guests at the reception!
