Q + A

Where can I park?

Please note that complimentary "public" parking is available on a limited basis on Gleason Road and Ventura Cove - overflow parking is also available on Bonita Cove. Those lots are neither owned nor operated by the Bahia Resort Hotel. Parking and traffic conditions may be challenging during the summer months and on weekends from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. We highly encourage carpooling or early arrivals. Overnight guests receive one complimentary unassigned parking spot per room.

Can I bring outside food or beverages?

No food of any kind may be brought into the banquet and catering rooms, suites, or hospitality suites by you or any of your guests or invitees. No beverages of any kind may be brought in

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

For our special day, we kindly ask our guests to dress in Semi-Formal or Cocktail Beach Wedding. Semi-formal or cocktail beach wedding attire for women calls for dresses, suits, or jumpsuits. (Feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud or any style that might clash with the venue.) If you choose to wear a beachy dress, specifically, consider a tea-length or maxi look to avoid looking too casual. Not sure what shoes to wear? Dressy sandals, chunky heels, and wedges are acceptable footwear options. As for men, while a jacket isn’t required, a breathable sports coat or unique blazer is a fun choice. Additionally, don't be afraid to include prints, but avoid anything too loud that would take the attention away from the couple. On the shoe front, your footwear can be a little more casual, but they absolutely must be a close-toe option, such as a loafer or deck shoe. Again, shorts and sandals are not permitted.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be taking place in an outdoor garden by the beach. The reception will be held indoors.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before 3/31/2025. You can RSVP right here on our wedding website.

Where are you registered?

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items we need for our newlywed home. A link to our wedding registry can be found here.

Should I bring a gift to your wedding?

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address.

Will transportation be provided between the to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception?

Ceremony and Reception will both be held at the Bahia Resort, no transportation needed.

Do you have any recommendations for things to do?

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to visit before or after the wedding

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Yes, plated dinner

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer and our signature cocktail.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

What time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, 6:30pm, to make sure everyone is seated on time.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall, where we will be servicing light passed hors d'oeuvres accompanied by an open bar
