Eli and I met in our freshman year of high school in advanced world history! We later fell in love and started dating our junior year during the winter of 2017, December 23rd to be exact. I remember him being the best Christmas present god had given me that year! Eli and I graduated high school and both went to college at UAB. He graduated from the school of health professions with a degree in biomedical sciences. I graduated from the school of arts and sciences with a degree in criminal justice and forensic science. The Christmas of 2023 we welcomed a sweet boxer puppy named Casper that we rescued from a local cemetery where we found him to the family. Casper set in motion the understanding of our true devotion and love for one another. We realized that we could do anything if we had eachother. On May 25th of 2024 Eli took me to the spot where we had our very first date. Lowe Mill! He treated me to our favorite tea place, piper and leaf! He followed that by proposing on the front lawn at the farmers market with a big wooden sign that had photos of us over the years that said “marry me”! It was and still is the happiest day of my life. I can’t wait to spend forever with this sweet man and our sweet Casper 🩵
