Our story began on the fateful day of December 14, 2023. Most people know it, but it all started on Facebook Dating. Angel was originally looking for someone to talk to while Pat was looking for love and we were a match. Come to find out, they both were coming out of a bad situation and wanted to start new and leave all everything else behind. Messaging on the app changed to texting to eventually FaceTiming. It went all so quickly but Pat felt something about this girl and made the first bold move to show Angel thati he was serious about her by deleting the Facebook Dating app. Two days later, Pat couldnt take it anymore and asked if they could meet up. The thing is, Angel lives in Myrtle Point, 3 hours away from Pat who is in Salem. He wanted to meet Angel so badly that he asked if he could meet her after she finishes work. She warned him that she finishes work at midnight. That did not stop Pat from making the trip and finally meeting the woman that he will eventually ask to be his wife. According to Angel, meeting Pat was love at first sight. When they hugged, she melted like butter. They hung out at Fat Alberts and talked for hours in his car. The night or morning ended when Angels mom and sister arrived on the scene to check up on Angel as she did not tell them that she was meeting Pat. To be fair, Pat did not tell David, his best man, that he was driving 3 hours to meet Angel. It was not the way Pat imagined meeting Angels family, but in the end, it worked out. And that began the courtship of Pat and Angel.

Funny thing is Pat had originally set up a first date with Angel on December 18th, 2 days before he made his first trip down to Myrtle Point. The first date was filled with spending time at lunch, movie, dinner, and really getting to know one another. The more they talked, the more they fell in love with each other. Angel would tell Pat that it was as if our souls knew each other for a long time, even though they have just met. As time went on, Pat gave Angel a promise ring (thats a story in itself!), met her family, she met his family, and the wheels started turning in Pat, as he knew this was the woman he was going to marry. But the question is going to be, how will he propose to her?

Ever since they first met, Pat knew that this woman he was going to marry. He had already started thinking about getting Angel a promise ring and secretly got Angels family involved with the planning process. Surprisingly, one day, Angel asked Pat if he knew what a promise ring was. Pat, being the sneaky guy he is, played dumb and pretended he had no idea what it was although he had already gotten one for her. Angel went on a long explanation and Pat just continued to nod and made her believe that he had no idea. So on December 25th, when Pat asked Angel to be his girlfriend, he presented her with the promise ring, telling her that hes very serious about this relationship...and oh, he knew what a promise ring was all along!

As months gone by with many different adventures, Pat started the next plan...asking Angel if she would marry him. But it needed to be carefully planned as Angel seemed to have a sixth sense that it was going to happen. Pat was able to get her family involved with the surprise and attempted to throw Angel off his trail. On July 14th, Angel thought the family was going to have a beach day after church. So the whole family went out to Shore Acres State Park. Angel had her suspicion that Pat would propose to her, he did something to confuse her even more. He got down on one knee and she gasped, but he tied his shoe. Angel was beat red but tried playing it off but Pat will never let that go. They continued to venture through the park and took pictures in the botanical garden and the Koi pond. As family members took pictures together, it soon became time for just Pat and Angel to take their. After several poses, they went back to back and Pat got on one knee and the answer was a resounding YES! To Pats surprise, she also got him a ring as well! It was in a Master Ball so that means, Pat is all Angels!
