Do I have to stay at the hotels in the travel section?
Ultimately no. You have free rein to book whatever hotel you want, wherever you want. However, we do ask that you inform us if you plan to book the hotels listed in the travel section because if we have enough people who are interested we can book a hotel block and get a reduced rate for you all. Please put that in the RSVP Google Form.
Are gifts mandatory?
Gifts are NOT mandatory. Many of you are coming from out of state and that can be expensive. If you can not afford a gift, that is more than okay. If you do wish to buy us a gift, please check out our Registry tab.
Can I bring a guest?
No, only those who are on the invitation are allowed to come. Please respect this rule as the venue only houses 150.
Are kids welcome?
Only children who are explicitly invited will be allowed to attend the wedding. Please plan accordingly.
What time should I arrive at the venue?
Our wedding is taking place from 5-10pm. We recommend arriving no later than 4:30 pm as we will start the ceremony promptly at 5. However, the ceremony should not take long seeing as we are already legally married, so you could arrive around 5:30/6 for cocktail hour if need be.
Will the event be indoors or outdoors?
Both! The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside, but there is plenty of outdoor space to walk around as well.
Will transportation be provided?
If you book at the Homewood Suites, yes. Anywhere else you will have to drive yourself there. We have valets at the venue to park your car for you.
Is it open bar?
It is a Bring Your Own venue meaning that we will be providing the alcohol. If there is anything specific that you would like, please make sure you fill in that space on the RSVP form.
Are the ceremony and reception spaces wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely! We want all of our guests to feel welcomed.
What food will be provided?
Once we get an accurate headcount on dietary restrictions, the full menu will be added under this question. So far what I can confirm is:
Appetizers: Brie and Raspberry Beggars Purses (think like a savory sweet rangoon) two entrees will be served each with a vegetable and a starch and then for dessert there will be the wedding cake as well as a chocolate fountain.
