Our story started our senior year of high school. It was homecoming week. Cody texted Angela to ask her out to lunch sometime that week. However, Angela was nervous, so instead of texting him back right away, she sought the help of her high school best friend, Abby. Abby helped set up the first date and then encouraged Angela to "give this guy a shot". Our first date was nothing short of unusual but cute all at the same time. Angela loved that Cody was an outgoing and unique individual. After a few dates, Cody asked Angela to be his girlfriend in January 2011. They both graduated from La Follette high school and began their journey as a couple in "the real world". They welcomed their dog Hemi into their lives for their 1st anniversary. Cody later started his apprenticeship to become an electrician, and Angela began her journey to become a teacher. Throughout the years, they went to several places and met several wonderful friends who had a lasting impact on their lives. In 2016, they found a place to call their own. August of 2018, they expanded their family by 4 paws, welcoming their dog Taz. February of 2019, Cody made Angela their traditional Valentine's day dinner; Crab legs, with asparagus and several yummy sides. As Angela was about to begin cracking open the first crab leg, there sat an engagement ring on her crab leg. Then began their next big journey of planning a beautiful day that they would remember for the rest of their lives.
