Our Wedding

Our story began on August 28, 2021. Angela and Jacob were attending the wedding of some mutual friends. Jacob was a part of the wedding party and Angela was a guest. During the song Wonderful Tonight, Jacob asked Angela for a dance. Afterwards, they exchanged phone numbers and went on their first date at Good News Brewing Co. in Defiance on September 4, 2021. They made things "official" on September 25, 2021. From there, they experienced many things together, familiar and new! Both started new jobs, discovered hobbies, and learned more about each other. Along the way, Angela and Jacob did a bit of traveling! Their first trip was to Huzzah Valley, where they went floating and camping with friends. Later, they would travel out-of-state to National Parks such as Hot Springs, Arkansas and Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. In February, Angela and Jacob traveled to Mammoth Cave for Jacob's birthday-- however, he had a different plan. On February 18, 2024, they went for a hike on The River Styx Trail. Halfway through, Jacob stopped them along a cliffside to set up a film camera and take some photos. After getting a photo together, Jacob quickly reset the camera for one more "just in case!" As the shutter clicked, he got down on one knee and asked Angela to marry him.
