Our story began with a lot of prayers and reflection. Before we met, both of us spent time asking for clarity about our vocations and seeking guidance. We like to think it was through the intercessory prayers of St. Ann that our paths crossed.

After a few weeks of talking, discovering how much we had in common (including mutual friends!), we decided to meet in person. Our first date was at French Truck Coffee in Midcity, and it felt so easy and natural—like we had known each other for much longer.

What really deepened our connection was realizing we’re both old souls at heart. We share a love for classic artists like Frank Sinatra, Frankie Valli, and Dean Martin, and we both appreciate the charm of old Western movies and that bygone era. We also admire our elderly relatives and the generation they come from—people who knew how to slow down and truly savor life.

From there, one date turned into many, and our long, meaningful conversations became the foundation of a relationship built on authenticity and mutual respect. It's amazing how two strangers can meet, fall in love, and become each other's best friends.
