Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport is about 74 miles away (1 hr 6 mins). Check out all the unique lake front stays on Airbnb or Vrbo. Annandale is surrounded around Monticello, Buffalo, Becker and St. Cloud which are all about 25 minutes away. St. Cloud has many options to stay as it’s another Minnesota big city outside of the Twin Cities. Maple Grove, MN is local to dining and shops and a location that is not far from the airport. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding day is located on a farm. The ceremony will be taking place outdoors; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will be held outdoors/indoors. There will be an outdoor party wedding canopy tent with sidewalls so inclement weather isn’t an issue.
What weather should I expect?
Minnesota experiences warm and humid summers, with temperatures averaging in the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
For a Minnesota July wedding, the dress code usually strikes a balance between formal elegance and daytime chic. Guests are encouraged to embrace a ‘smart casual’ or ‘garden party’ attire. Women could opt for floral dresses, elegant sundresses, or light, flowing maxi dresses, paired with stylish yet comfortable shoes suitable for an outdoor setting. Men could opt for light-colored suit, paired with a crisp shirt, and choose to forego the tie for a more relaxed look. We do have farm animals. So if you would like to interact with them, please remember, be comfortable with the chance of getting dirty ♥️
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bride and groom will be taking pictures nearby. Guests will not need to travel as the reception is on the same property. There will be outdoor games (i.e. corn hole, giant jenga, bocce ball, etc.) and beverages during a cocktail hour while you wait for the wedding party.
Where should guests park?
Parking is free. It is on the property. There will be signage to direct parking.
