Our Wedding

Our story began in Huntsville, Texas on November 3rd, 2020. We both ended up at an election party my brother brought me to and Wylie's friends dragged him along. I knew there was something about him the moment I looked at him, although I could not pinpoint it. Our conversations started on Snapchat, which quickly led to long conversations and hours of FaceTime. After a month of talking all day every day, Wylie asked me out on my dream date: a drive-in movie. Wylie drove 3 1/2 hours without hesitation to meet my parents and take me out. My mom always told me that when I met the one, I would know right away without a doubt. I never understood how that was possible... until our first date. Both Wylie and I knew that we were going to marry each other after that night. Quickly after we started dating, 3 1/2 hours away changed to 4 hours and we continued to work long distance for the first 2 years of our relationship, driving 440 miles round trip every weekend possible. Now, me and Wylie live 10 minutes apart and we are GETTING MARRIED!! We have both prayed for this moment all our lives and we cannot wait to celebrate our new beginning together with our friends and family!- Angela Me and Angela’s first date was at the beginning of January 2021. We had been talking for a little bit and I had never felt that kind of connection ever before. I drove around 3 hours to her house for our first date, which was worth it. I was so nervous I didn’t even think I said hi to her when she opened the front door - I went straight to shake her dad’s hand. I was super quiet and didn’t talk much, so she was the one who had to carry on the conversation. Once we got into the truck to go to the drive-in movie theater, the dynamic changed. For the first and the last time, I experienced about an hour-long drive with Ange where she didn’t say a word… if you know her, that is a shock. We froze our butts off in the bed of my truck through 2 movies and then went to Whataburger for a late-night dinner. I then dropped her off and made the 3-hour drive back to my house. Since that moment, I haven’t looked back. Through the 2 years of long distance, to finally living 10 minutes apart, my love for her has grown beyond what I could of ever imagined.- Wylie
