But sometimes, love has its own timing. Fast forward to 2020, as the world slowed down at the start of the pandemic, fate decided to step in—and so did Luckie, Angela’s beloved fur baby. Luckie unknowingly played Cupid. One day, while scrolling through social media, Derek came across a post of Luckie and couldn’t resist sending Angela a message. That simple DM sparked something neither of us could have expected. What started as casual conversations soon blossomed into something special. From late-night phone calls to socially distanced walks, with Luckie always leading the way, our connection deepened. The years of quiet friendship turned into a love story that feels like it was always meant to be. And now, here we are—ready to begin the next chapter of our lives together, hand in hand, with Luckie forever by our side.
