How should I plan to travel abroad?
CHECK YOUR PASSPORT EXPIRATION DATE! Ensure the expiration date is at least 6 months after the wedding date. If you do not have a passport, please apply for one as soon as possible as they can take several months to be processed and received.
Do I need a VISA?
No, U.S. citizens may enter Italy for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa.
When should I book my flight?
This winter/spring is a good time to start getting your travel plans locked in. Three to six months prior to the travel date is recommended for booking.
When should I RSVP?
Please RSVP no later than December 1st considering we will be planning and providing for all guests' accommodation during the stay. If you are fairly certain of your ability to attend or not attend, kindly shoot us a text so we can anticipate and plan accordingly.
Where should I stay?
Many people will be staying on site at the wedding venue. Remaining guests will stay at a nearby hotel for which we will have transportation coordinated. All accommodation from June 10-June 13 will be covered and arranged by the bride and groom.
How far is the venue from Rome?
30 minutes
WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO GET TO AND FROM THE VENUE?
Upon initial arrival and for final departure to and from the villa, we will be planning for group transportation for guests as appropriate.
What if I miss the bus?
Rental car, taxi, ride sharing are options. We have plenty of parking at the venue if you have a rental car. There is also a train station in Frascati that you can take to and from Rome.
Can I travel to Italy/Europe before or after the wedding?
Of course! We hope that you take this as an opportunity to travel and enjoy your summer. All we ask is that guests arrive to the villa on Monday, no earlier than 4pm and leave Thursday, no later than 11am.

GENERAL NOTES ABOUT STAYING IN ITALY
Passport: Please ensure your passport does not expire before December 2024. Italy may refuse entry if expiration date is within 6 months of the travel dates
Voltage Converter: If you're bringing any hair styling tools, a steamer or anything that isn't dual voltage, you'll need a voltage converter. Don’t forget your plug adapters.
Ride Sharing Apps: MyTaxi, FreeNow or Uber
Banking: Make sure you call your bank and tell them you'll be out of the country.
Trains: Our favorite way to travel between major cities. Make sure you book in advance and make sure you book an actual seat, not just the train itself.
Can we bring our kids?
Unfortunately, we kindly ask that you do not bring your kids. There is an un-gated pool on the property which makes it an unsafe place for children to be. Thank you for your understanding.
