It all began the night of April 7, 2016, at Sonic. Angela and D'Andre's paths crossed not for the fast food, but for the love of each other's cars. Angela's sleek white car with a hint of pink caught D'Andre's eye, but D'Andre's attraction shifted to the driver. Intrigued, he strategically parked his car next to hers, leaving a gap between them. With a few deep breaths and a little pep talk to himself, D'Andre built up the courage to approach Angela. "I like what you've done to your car," he said with a charming smile.

Angela played hard to get for a whole year, but D'Andre was determined and patient. Angela finally gave in! Knowing her favorite number, 11, D'Andre waited for the perfect date, for a perfect date. On April 11, 2017, he made it official.

April 11, 2023: A day full of surprises celebrating their six-year anniversary a few days before their anniversary trip.

D'Andre left for work earlier than usual that day for an "early meeting." But really, it was to get Angela's first surprise of the day. Going about her normal morning routine, Angela suddenly got an odd text from D'Andre to check the mail. Still unaware of the real reason behind the day’s surprises, Angela believed they were simply celebrating their anniversary. After a romantic dinner, D'Andre had one more surprise before going home.
