HOW WE MET

Michael and Angela met during the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020. The pandemic locked down all the businesses and jobs in Alabama. However, Michael and Angela continued to go out to the bars in Lake View District, where they met at a local bar. After a few dances and greeting one another on several occasions; Michael and Angela finally exchanged numbers. From there, the rest is history.

THE PROPOSAL

After dating for 3 years, Michael and Angela went on an 8 day road trip from Birmingham, Al to San Diego, California for vacation. After arriving in San Diego, they decided to visit La Jolla Beach for the beautiful waves, view of the ocean and to see the sea creatures. After a long day at the beach, they arrived back at the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel to get ready for date night. When Angela was finished getting ready, Michael dropped to his knee with a speech that he had forgotten due to extreme nervousness. Angela was screaming with so much excitement that she took the ring out of the box herself and said, "YES!"

FAVORITE MEMORIES

Their many favorite memories include cooking, going on trips across the map, eating K-POT for the first time together, eating seafood, date nights and losing two hundred dollars in 10 minutes after the proposal.
