Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP no later than January 31st 2025, so we have an accurate headcount!

Can I bring a date or plus 1?

Due to limited space, we can not accommodate all +1 requests. However, all names included on the original invitation are invited and it will specifically note if a +1 or guest was granted.

Are kids welcome?

Of course! We recognize that some of you will be traveling with kids so this is a child friendly ceremony and reception. Kids meals will be available for dinner. There is also a kid/family friendly section of the hotel called the “Daisy” section with kid friendly activities and a water park!

Do you have a room block at resort?

Yes! We have a room block in place at Ocean Riviera Paradise. This resort is located close to the Villa and will be the main pickup/drop off point for our guests on the wedding day. Please review the "Travel" tab for more details. Note: We do suggest booking your hotel rooms ASAP.

When should I book by?

It's always best to book your flight/hotels early! The room block's for the hotel will be available until December 4th 2024.

Is there anything not included?

If you choose to stay at the resort, it is all-inclusive meaning all your food and beverages are included for your stay. Tips are not included however so you’ll still want to bring some cash for the bartenders and servers taking care of you throughout your stay. Any additional food outside the resort/day-trips/excursions/etc. are not included so plan accordingly. Note: Dinner and drinks will be provided on the day of the wedding during the cocktail hour and reception.

When should I arrive in Mexico?

Anytime prior to the wedding on Thursday April 3rd, 2025 at 5pm! The bride and groom will arrive at the resort a few days prior to the wedding and plan on staying there for the remainder of the week/weekend.

What if I can't come?

We completely understand that not everyone will be able to make the trip to Mexico and appreciate your love and support regardless. If you are unable to attend for whatever reason, please still let us know asap by declining the rsvp.

What if I missed the RSVP date?

Unfortunately if we do not receive a response from you prior to the rsvp deadline, we're sorry you can't make it to our wedding. Our RSVP deadline is very strict as final headcount numbers need to be turned into our vendors by that specific date. We would have loved to have you attend and your presence will be missed.

What will the weather be like?

During the day, the weather in Mexico should be sunny and beautiful, averaging 80 degrees. Note, it will be an entirely outdoor wedding and can be warm. As it gets darker, it can potentially get cooler at night since we will be right by the ocean and have a breeze coming in. We suggest dressing for warmer weather but bringing some layers for the evening.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony and reception will both be outdoors so please dress accordingly.

What should I wear?

Dress code is cocktail/semi-formal. Be sure to dress light and breezy, since the air will be warm and humid. Note: The entire ceremony and reception will be outdoors near the beach however we will not be directly on the sand.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

As this is an outdoor wedding, we suggest for comfortable, breathable shoes. We will not be in the sand however there will be grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in, so please keep this in mind if any women choose to still wear high heels.

Is it okay to take pictures or videos with our phone/cameras during the wedding?

YES! We would love for you to take your own photos and share them with us. However, please refrain from blocking the photographers during the ceremony. There will be QR codes throughout the reception where you can scan and upload/share your photos and videos with us too!

What is the currency in Mexico?

Mexico uses Pesos or U.S. Dollars. Almost all resorts/nearby activities accept U.S. Dollars and/or major credit cards, so you don't need to convert any money if you don't want to, however you can also convert your cash to pesos at the airport.

Whom should I call with further questions?

Please call or text the bride, Angela with any remaining questions at 815-641-7051.
