Our story began in August 2010 at Quarters restaurant in Perrysburg, OH. It was our first date before Brian left for his two week annual military training and we were both so nervous. It went well and ended with a kiss on the cheek. As soon as those two weeks ended we were excited and anxious to go on another date. This one lasted 14 hours. It was intended to be just dinner but neither of us wanted the night to end. The date was September 9, 2010. Exactly 7 years later we will be marrying.

Those seven years together have brought so many great adventures and memories. We moved cross country together, traveled to 10 states and 2 other countries, had numerous road trips, rode on a number of boats from kayaks to cruise ships, and shared so many life experiences including graduating college, losses, births, career changes, and dog parenting. We are so lucky to have found each other (jury is still out on who is the luckier one ;-) )!

The proposal was nothing short of perfect for us. Brian pulled off a complete surprise while on a dinner cruise in San Diego (what's up with all these boats?!?). In preparation for the sun setting we all went to the top deck for pictures where Brian shared "the real reason for tonight." After getting down on one knee Brian told Angela that we had been together what felt like forever and asked if she would make it forever. Luckily even with all the ugly crying, swearing, and asking him to keep saying nice things Brian still followed through with asking Angela to marry him and the answer was of course.....YES!

Of course Camp Perry was the most fitting place for our nuptials as it is an Army National Guard base and is located on Lake Erie, where we spent many days and nights. Having a big wedding is important to us so that we have the chance to bring all of the most important people in our lives together. You see, the multiple sides of families have never met and our friends stretch coast to coast. We look forward to seeing you all and sharing our next adventure with you.
