When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP no later than September 10th, 2024 (9/10/2024) to ensure that every guest is accounted for in the final count.
How would I RSVP?
Kindly RSVP by mailing in the card included with your formal invitation, the envelope is already pre-addressed to the desired location. Do not RSVP through online avenues such as email or the website as they will not be monitored for this purpose.
Am I allowed to bring an additional guest?
Due to limitations on capacity, we kindly ask that the only guests in attendance are those listed or accounted for on the formal invitation.
Is there a dress code?
We kindly request that guests dress in formal attire. Please note: the venue does NOT allow for jeans.
What is the weather like this time of year?
The weather varies a bit in the Poconos this time of year, average low temperature is 44 degrees Fahrenheit, average high is 63 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect the weather to be on the cooler side, but not cold. However, the weather has not been known to be predictable lately. I would suggest a light jacket just in case, although I can't promise you will use it.
Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside. If the weather does not allow for that to happen, there is a secondary ceremony space (a covered pavilion type area) to accommodate several feet from the outdoor ceremony space. The reception will be indoors, the indoor areas are temperature controlled.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
The venue is ADA compliant and ensures that every guest will be able to enjoy their day. If there are any specific concerns or questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?
Please let us know when you RSVP by indicating on the card, as with enough notice ahead of time we can accommodate special diets.
Can I take and post pictures to social media?
Of course!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, Enjoy! Please note, due to Stroudsmoor policy we will not be able to serve shots.
What do I call the new couple?
Angela is going to be taking Patrick's last name, so the newlyweds will be Mr. and Mrs. Heaney
I'm just a little confused about some nicknames
That's ok!
Patrick also goes by Pat and Rick. You may hear him being called by any one of these names depending on who is talking to him. Whatever you are accustomed to calling him by is perfectly ok.
Where are they registered at?
Angela and Patrick have registered through several avenues for the ease of their guests. They are registered at Amazon and Target, both of which can be found on the "Registry" page of this website to make all items appear in one convenient spot.
What if I prefer to gift cash?
A newlywed fund has been established on the "Registry" page of this website for those who wish to gift easily through online avenues. Please note that The Knot will charge a small processing fee for the digital gift. We will have a locked card box at the event for those who would like to gift a physical envelope.
