Our Wedding

Our story began in September of 2018. We met in Chicago at a mutual friend’s birthday party. We ended up sitting next to each other on the trolly as we drove around the city and just chatted about anything and everything. Who knew that all would lead us to getting married in the future! Over the course of the next few weeks, we explored the city together, formed a friendship which lead to our bond and love, and created traditions that we still follow to this day. In January of 2019, after a Blackhawks game, we made it official and began dating. Henry was studying nursing at this time while Angelica was in school studying to be a teacher. A lot of our dates consisted of take out in the library and coffee dates while studying for tests. We didn’t just spend all our time studying but also valued the time spent traveling together whether we flew on a plane or drove in our cars. We loved the adventures and exploring of new states together. Some of our favorite memories are jumping around breweries in Milwaukee to revisiting old stomping grounds in San Diego. While our relationship started with Henry living in an apartment on Western, he would eventually move to an apartment that we made our own and eventually would move in together. This would be where we would bring home our puppy Guinness to make the family that we already created together even bigger. After 2 years of living in that apartment and dreaming of a yard for our dog, we finally made the move to Oak Lawn! In the empty living room of our new home and as the new chapter in our life was beginning, Henry proposed right in our living room. After, we were able to celebrate with friends and family in a surprise engagement party. We were then able to take off to one of our favorite places to go; San Diego. There we were able to not only take in and celebrate being newly engaged on our own but with friends that we don’t get to see very often. Six years together, two graduations, two moves, one dog, one house, and an infinity amount of highs, lows, adventure, and memories later, we are so excited to officially become Mr. and Mrs. Gorski on June 27th, 2025 right here in the neighborhood where our family will continue to grow.

June 27th, 2025 3:30pm-11:00pm Shuttles will be provided to and from the venue. Springhill Suites Hotel Guests:- Shuttle will leave the hotel at 3:30pm CST Following dinner, the shuttles will be available as needed starting at 8:15pm until 11:00pm to take guests back to the hotel. Guests can request transport back to the Springhill Suite Hotel in Munster IN.
