Back in 2020 pre-COVID, Daniel had set up a proposal and post-celebration in SteelCraft with the help of our close friends and family. Since that didn't get to happen, we figured we'd have a little "do-over" now that restrictions have started to lift!

About the Venue

SteelCraft is an outdoor communal dining space in Garden Grove, similar to the Anaheim Packing District or The Hangar in Long Beach. Courtesy of the bride and groom, guests can order their meals, drinks, and desserts from any vendor of their choice and come dine in a private garden area with the rest of the wedding party. The venue does ask for no outside food or drinks (other than maybe a water bottle). Because of COVID restrictions, they also have dine-in guidelines that we need to follow. Please read the flyer below for guidelines prior to attending the party. SteelCraft is dog-friendly, so please let us know if you want to bring your pup! Only requirement is that they be on leash at all times.

The Venue

As the party will be held on a Sunday, most of the food vendors will be closing at 6 or 7pm, so please arrive by 4:00pm to browse and order your food within the first hour. You can check out the vendors ahead of time <a href="https://steelcraftlb.com/steelcraft-garden-grove/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a> so you have an idea of what you would like to try before you order! Please stop by the garden area first to get your arm bands so the vendors know you are our guests. You will need them to get your food and drinks!

Suggested Schedule

-3:30 - 4:00: Exchange of vows and professional photo session with the wedding party (open to guests who want to attend!)-4:00 - 5:30: Order/eat dinner and drinks-5:30 - 6:00: Dessert, including the "cake cutting" (dessert catered by <a href="https://steelcraftlb.com/vendors/duck-donuts/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Duck Donuts</a>)-6:00 - 7:00: The party continues There will be no seating assignments. Guests are more than welcome to order food and drinks, mingle, and play games any time throughout the duration of the party. Dress to impress, but keep your comfort in mind; there will be a mini photo booth and various yard/party games (with a chance to win prizes!).

Hi, I’m the other Alex in the wedding party. You can tell us apart because of the dress, although we haven’t really discussed that part yet so I wouldn’t take that as a hard and fast rule. I’d like to thank Angelica and Daniel for planning their wedding while Disneyland annual passes are on hiatus - it would have really thrown a wrench in our summer plans otherwise. Love them for that. Hi, my name is Miguel, and I’m not the famous one from the movie Coco. I met Daniel and Angelica back in nursing school. After nursing school, our friendship grew and despite all of us being busy with work, we find time to do stuff together. I am happy to be part of their lives and on this special day, I want to congratulate them and celebrate their union in a happy marriage. Angelica, treat him well or I’ll take Daniel from you…..My wife doesn’t approve but it’s ok.

Shuri thinks everyone is gathering around to celebrate her first birthday and does not realize that the ring boxes are in fact, not birthday gifts for her. CJ, her wedding date, is too afraid to tell her otherwise and has agreed to be her birthday date to keep her complacent.
