Our Wedding

Our story began at Waynesburg University where we both attended undergraduate school. We ended up in the same class the second semester of our Freshman year when Angelica switched her major to Education and before Aaron switched from Education to Criminal Justice. Since then, we both were acquaintances and always stopped to say hello when we saw each other on campus but our paths rarely crossed. Fast forward to Junior year, we started to run into each other more often. Angelica was assigned to a field placement at the local middle school where Aarons mom taught. Mrs. Sielski ended up being in charge of the homeroom routine in the class Angelica was assigned. Mrs. Sielski and Angelica would chat daily and eventually realized the relation. Angelica also happened to be in Mr. Sielski’s Algebra class during this time. Things came full circle and a little match making occurred in time! Soon after this connection started to fall into place, we got sent home due to the Covid Pandemic. Aaron then liked Angelica’s picture on instagram and direct messaged a comment about it. Angelica thought he was just being friendly but turns out he was interested ha ha. We continued to get to know each other and had virtual movie dates as we worked through Covid perimeters. Our love of Halloween was quickly recognized as we watched Monster House and The Nightmare before Christmas as our first two films together. We officially began dating on November 4th, 2020. Our first date was to the National Aviary in Pittsburgh and our first trip was to Oglebay to hike and visit The Good Zoo during the winter months. We got our first apartment together in 2021 and moved back to campus a year later. We also adopted various pets that we adore along the way! We got engaged in Disney Springs on our first Disney trip together on September 1st, 2022. We valued a long engagement as we both earned our Masters Degrees working and living at Waynesburg University where our love story began. We have served, learned, worked and volunteered in many capacities as we dove deeper into our purpose, faith, education and love. We look forward to day that we have worked very hard to prioritize and design in great detail. We cannot wait to share our wedding day with all of the people who have positively influenced our journey together!

Fun Fact: Our engagement pictures were taken on Waynesburg University's campus during our favorite season, in the building in which we first met (Miller Hall), and at Coopers Rock in West Virginia which is one of the first places we hungout together with friends!
