Our Wedding

It all started when Gabriel found a student’s university ID in a deserted parking lot. He quickly messaged her to return it, and they agreed to meet at one of the computer labs, where the girl was finishing a project. When Gabriel laid eyes on her, he was smitten. The girl, while very thankful for this stranger’s act of kindness, was very focused on not missing her project deadline. The ID was returned to its owner, they said goodbye, and they went their separate ways. Four years later, Gabriel saw a picture of a beautiful girl on Facebook and messaged her to congratulate her on graduating. When he clicked to message her, though, he realized it was the same girl he had messaged about the ID four years prior! Was this fate? They started communicating pretty regularly since then, but Angie had just moved back to Puerto Rico after finishing her bachelor’s degree. A while later, she moved to Maryland to start her master’s degree, and Gabriel drove down to meet her. They were finally able to go on their first date a year after they started talking! They’ve been inseparable ever since, and have since added their puppy Ruby into their family.

Pam is Angie's sister and built-in best friend, as well as the life of the party! Pam & Angie grew up watching cartoons together, sharing cheddar ruffles chips, and dancing around their room to Belinda's latest CD. There's no love quite like sisterly love, and the girls always reminded each other that "they see the same moon" once Angie moved away, as a reminder of their strong bond even with distance between them. Pam is a great support system, fashionista and a beautiful person inside and out. Angie grew up looking up to Pam, and there is absolutely no one she'd love more by her side than her big sister. 

Pamela Rolón

You can't talk about Angie without talking about Julia, and vice versa! Julia & Angie are best friends since forever, and they have been on countless adventures together. Julia is very bubbly and extroverted, and genuinely loves making connections anywhere she goes. The girls bonded at a synchro competition and became inseparable ever since! Julia has been an amazing friend across the years and the girls have more stories than you could imagine about all of their experiences together. You will probably find Julia tearing up the dance floor with a drink in her hand! 

Julia Toro 

Paho is Angie's cousin and almost-sister. The girls grew up together, and you could always find them laughing, dancing, singing, and following Pam around the house whenever there was a family gathering. Paho is an extremely special person in Angie's life, as she is very kind, creative and caring towards everyone in her life. She has been a great confidante throughout the years, and her genuine happiness at others' success is one of the many endearing qualities about her. Paho has always been there whenever anyone needs her, and she will drop anything to be there for her family. Shoutout to Paho for the beautiful stationary for the wedding, made by her company - Solape360. Angie could not imagine getting married without having Paho at her side! 

Pahola Estrada

Dani and Angie go way back in their friendship, as she was one of Angie's first friends at synchro. Dani, Angie & Julia were inseparable teammates that earned them the name PB&J. They went everywhere together, and they were each other's support system all the way through middle school and high school. The girls have gone through many competitions together, and even hosted a joint 18th birthday party when they were younger. As Angie chose who she wanted next to her on her special day, she thought back to the girls who grew up with her and helped her become the woman she is today. Dani is an instrumental person in Angie's life, and a very special person that she wanted next to her on her wedding day.

Daniela Díaz Rubayo

Meet Micaiah, one of the groom's younger brothers and one of the best men! Growing up together, they shared countless adventures, from backyard escapades to road trips, always pushing each other to dream bigger and laugh harder. Full of energy and an adventurous spirit, Micaiah brings an undeniable smile to every moment. Whether he's exploring new places, trying something daring, or simply lighting up a room with his infectious enthusiasm, he's always been a source of inspiration and fun. Having him stand by Gabriel’s side on this special day is a true reflection of their lifelong bond.

Micaiah Skolnick

Berechiah, the groom’s other younger brother, has always had a sharp sense of humor and a quiet but undeniable way of showing he cares. Growing up, he and Gabriel had fun together, from friendly competitions to inside jokes that still come up today. He may not always say it outright, but his loyalty and support speak for themselves, and Gabriel is grateful to have him standing by his side on this big day.

Berechiah Skolnick

Justin is Gabriel’s brother-in-law and the flower girl’s dad! Justin was the first person Angie met from Gabriel’s side of the family, and the three headed out to kayak that day. Justin is inquisitive, extremely kind and a great conversationalist. He is an amazing father and expecting his second child in June!

Justin Martin

Josh is Gabriel’s brother-in-law and one of his best friends! You’ll often find Gabriel and Angie over at Josh & GraceAnn’s place playing board games or watching the latest episode of their series. Josh is always smiling, extremely kind, and an amazing cook!

Josh Whitelaw

Rodri is Angie’s cousin and 10 years old!! He’s always the life of the party and loves to dance. Rodri and Angie have a special bond, and the couple couldn’t be happier to have him as their Ring bearer!

Rodrigo Beniquez

Aliyah is the couple’s niece and almost 2!! She loves music, sweets and climbing everything! The couple is completely in love with her and can’t wait to see her walking down the aisle.

Please see some options below for how to get to our venue! Keep in mind that our wedding will be held on the west side of the island, in Rincón.

For those of you flying into Puerto Rico: please note that you will need either a Real ID or your passport to be able to fly into Puerto Rico, given new travel guidelines.

Rincón is located about 2 hours and 20 minutes away from the San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín (SJU) airport. We recommend that you rent a car and enjoy the amazing scenery on the way down!

San Juan to Rincón

Puerto Rico has a smaller airport on the west side of the island, closer to Rincón. Though it might be more difficult to rent a car from that airport due to its size, it is an option if you do not want to drive the two hours from San Juan. The Aguadilla airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Rafael Hernández) is about 42 minutes from our venue.

Our main villa at Villa de Zecheo has very limited rooms available for a three night stay. At this time, all rooms available have been booked.

Rincón of the Seas

Rincón of the Seas is a good hotel option if you are wanting a worry-free stay. This hotel is about 8 minutes from our venue, and we could arrange a shuttle to take you to and from our venue on our wedding day.

Rincón Beach Resort

Rincón Beach Resort is also a great option in Rincón. This hotel is 16 minutes away from our venue, and we could potentially arrange for a shuttle on our wedding day to take you to and from our venue.

If you're looking for a more laid-back approach to accommodations, Rincón has plenty of Airbnb options to choose from as well - especially around Tres Palmas which is where our venue is located!

This casual breakfast spot is next to the beach! It’s a little food truck on the side of the road with amazing breakfast tacos and sandwiches. Please note they’re closed Mondays!! Breakfast is served until 11am. One of our favorite spots in Rincón.

Outside Of Rincón: Casa Bacardí

If you’re into zip-lining, this park will be perfect! They have a wide array of zip-lines for you to choose from.

Outside of Rincón: Toro Verde Adventure Park

Puerto Rico has several bioluminescent bays that you can enjoy! There are kayaking tours that will guide you to them. Though the Vieques bio bay is the best one, we recommend the one located in Fajardo, as it’s the easiest one to get to from the island.
