Would you believe that our story began because of Disney? How fitting is it since I have always been such a Disney fan. Well, we met at Disney- okay not exactly Disney but at the Starbucks at Disney Springs, close enough right? In October of 2019, that's when Kevin laid his eyes on me. He came up to me all I remember noticing was the pineapple shorts and patterned top he was wearing. He asked me to get coffee and I agreed- still only thinking about his shorts and patterned top. After that day we talked for quite a bit everyday, he kept trying to see me again but I kept denying. He kept insisting for 3 months until I finally gave in. We kept hanging out as friends, of course that included frequent visits to Disney (which we are both mutually really fond of). As time went on I began to grow really fond of Kevin and to be able to continue our relationship I told him I needed my mom to meet him. He met my mom in January 2020 and she gave me the okay, she really liked him- this is when we officially started going out on dates. After two months of officially going on dates he asked me to be his girlfriend on March 14, 2020 (yes, right before the world declared us to be in a global pandemic.). It was a crazy time to start our lives as boyfriend and girlfriend (as Kevin is my first boyfriend). But, we made it happen and boy it was not easy dating during lockdown. We would meet up at a Target that was halfway between each other to grocery shop together since going out was only allowed for essentials and then he came to my house for my birthday. Once life was able to resume a little after lockdown he would come over and spend Saturday's at my house over the summer. Disney trips were always a date for us and of course family time. On our one year anniversary, March 14th 2021 Kevin ask me if I wanted to be "Mrs. Dellepere". The rest is history. I can not wait to marry Kevin and start our lives together. As well as can not wait to share that special day with loved ones.
