Our Wedding

In a time of great uncertainty, two people coming together to become one may seem unbelievable. Yet, here we are. This love story began in the most unlikely place, a global pandemic. How do you meet someone when you can’t go out to literally anywhere you’re used to or have to wear a mask everywhere you go? Well, naturally, you turn to the internet. We met on Hinge in November of 2020. For those of you who don’t know, Hinge is a dating app. We got to know each other virtually facetiming in the evening during the week. We almost made it to our first real date, but Angelina came down with what she said was a “sinus infection”. Well, anyone who knows Angelina knows that was in fact Covid-19. Kevin was consistent and made sure to check in on Ang everyday while she was quarantined. Once Angelina had started to feel better, the pair spontaneously decided to grab dinner at Jameson’s Pub that night. Even though it was the first time meeting in person it felt like they’d known each other for years. The hours at that booth only seemed like minutes. Both agreed something about that night felt different. The rest is history.

Fun fact: Angelina is the only daughter of an only daughter of an only daughter. So naturally, family jewelry has been passed down from generation to generation. When Kevin asked to marry Angelina, he was gifted three diamonds in order to create a ring that would stand out and symbolize the four love stories most important to her. Both of Angelinas grandmothers’ center stones from their engagement rings, as well as her mothers are featured alongside the diamond Kevin chose for her. Angelina wanted something different something no one else had so a jeweler took her top 2 ring designs and combined them into a custom-made unique ring just for her.

Once the ring was designed, Kevin recalled a conversation that he had with Angelina. She told him that all she wanted was her family present when the time came. The two had a vacation planned with her family to Disneyworld and on a beautiful September morning in front of The Tower of Terror at Disneys Hollywood Studios Kevin dropped to one knee and asked Angelina to be his wife. By the way… they were already three months into wedding planning, and she knew it was coming. She just didnt know where.. or when..
