Our love story began in Santa Monica, California back in July 2020.
I had originally booked an Airbnb one summer night for my friends and I to casually hang out while we worked on music. Thanks to our mutual friend Chris, Angelique ended up coming over that night with him to shoot some content. I wound up taking modeling photos for her all night on the beach until 4 am. From that point on, we occasionally saw each other as friends and our relationship grew. In October we started seeing more of each other and in January of 2021 it was well known we liked one another. I remember our first kiss was on February 6th because it was two days before my birthday haha. 
I officially asked Angelique to be my girlfriend on February 18, 2021, and within only a few short months I knew I wanted to spend forever with her. Before our two year anniversary I bought the engagement ring and planned the proposal.
On October 29th, 2023 we drove to Yosemite National Park, where we went on our first road trip in April of 2021. It was staged to her as a “cute couples only trip” with our two close friends Kris and Sandra. Our cabin was very aesthetically pleasing, rustic with twinkle string lights in the yard, everything she likes. It was there at night, outside under the lights, where I (very nervously) asked her to marry me. The three of us made it seem like we were just taking some fun photos. Kris and Sandra filmed on my camera, and while her back was turned, I got down on one knee. She was very surprised :) mission accomplished! 


I am beyond excited to spend the rest of my life with her, but I am also equally excited to have our family and friends share this beautiful moment with us. We’ll see you in the forest.
