Her Story

I first remember meeting Patrick at school through a mutual friend introducing us. Upon first meeting Pat, I thought he was cool and I thought it was interesting his name was Patrick because I just got rid of car that I called Patrick which was a PT Cruiser, everyone who knows me knew my car's name because it always gave me trouble. Anyways, we exchanged information for studying purposes. We begin to text each other a lot throughout the day and found out we had a lot in common.

I found myself not going a day without talking to him, whether it was text, phone call, or seeing him around campus. After having some challenging classes we begin to study together along with some other classmates but me and Pat always found ourselves studying more together and eventually studying more by ourselves.

Our first date was a study break at Top Spice in which learned even more about each other and from there I realized I wanted to continue to learn more about this person.

After 6 months of just casual dating and hanging out Pat asked me to be his girlfriend of course I was like I am not looking to be in a relationship to just date, I want to grow and have an end goal. Patrick has been there for me for some of the most monumental moments in my life, like getting my doctorates, getting my first job as a doctor, and continuing to grow professionally.

On Jan 1, 2021, Patrick got on one knee and asked me to be his wife. If you know Pat he is a jokester so I didn't believe him when he was originally proposing and then I realized what was actually happening and of course I said yes!

His Story

Our love story started on the campus of Life University in Marietta, Ga. I first noticed Angenea in Biochemistry and just so happen she was sitting by a friend I knew from South Carolina State University. Little did I know how much we had in common like our love for seafood, October birthdays, and how lucky we are to be the Number 4’s of our unique Fraternity/Sorority. To make a long story short over time I have grown to love and cherish Angenea for what she does particularly in my life, but most importantly how she doesn’t allow our relationship to remain stagnant. It is important to the both of us that we continue to grow together and that we push each other in the right direction. I love her with all my heart and I can’t wait until I get to spend the rest of my life with her as Mrs. Brown.
