Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport
Many major airlines fly to the Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage. Anchorage is about 120 miles from Seward.
You can fly to Kenai (70 miles to Seward) or Homer (80 miles to Seward), but you will still need ground transportation to Seward.
Trains
You can travel by train from Anchorage to Seward. Peter and Angie have taken the train and love the scenic and panoramic views it provides.
The train will arrive in Downtown Seward.
There are several taxi options in Seward that operate like a car service.

Automobiles
Rental Car
Major rental car companies are available in Anchorage.
Turo, the ‘AirBnb' of car rentals, is also available.
Shuttle Service
Alaska Tour and Travel provides upscale bus transportation to Seward with guided narration. This is the most inexpensive option.
Red Eye Rides provides shuttle service round trip to Seward. Their vans can fit up to 10 people, cost $125 per adult, and leave Anchorage at 10:00am, 4:00pm, and 11:30pm daily.
RV or Camper Van
At Great Alaska Holidays you can rent a RV or Camper Van that acts as your transportation and lodging for your stay. There are plenty of campgrounds in Alaska. We recommend booking your campsites early if you choose this option. Miller’s Landing, the wedding venue, has RV sites available.
