What are the camping accommodations?
If you're interested in camping, you will need to bring your own tent and camping gear. Pamplin Grove is a private group site within Van Duzen County Park and there are plenty of places to pitch a tent. There are bathrooms on site but no showers, so if you wish to shower, you will need to drive to Swimmers Delight campground which is about a 2 minute drive from Pamplin. Showers are coin operated.
Can I bring a trailer or RV?
Yes! There are a handful of places to park a trailer or RV. Please let us know if you plan to bring one.
Can I swim in the Van Duzen river?
Yes, but please be aware that due to the time of year, there may be toxic blue/green algae blooms. THIS WILL KILL DOGS and can make people very sick. Procede with caution and do not allow dogs in the river.
What should I wear?
Please wear something dressy casual. For example: a nice button up and a pair of slacks or jeans or a sun dress/ romper/ jumpsuit.
What are your wedding colors?
Dusty rose, eucalyptus green, and pops of mauve.
You absolutely do not have to wear these colors unless you are part of the wedding party!
Will there be activities during the reception?
Yes! There will be cornhole, horseshoes, boardgames, and more!
Will there be music?
We have a wonderful local acoustic guitarist who will be playing during the ceremony and reception. We are unable to have amplified music at this location due to an endangered species of owl that lives in the park.
What kind off food will you be serving?
We will be serving a chicken, beef, and veggie option.
Is this a kid-friendly wedding?
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!
