Guest Drop OffThe road in front of MOXI is a 'No Stopping' zone due to the proximity to the train tracks, and there is no pull-in area. If you are arriving in an Uber/Lyft/taxi, please ask to be dropped off behind MOXI (160 Kimberly Avenue, Santa Barbara, CA 93101). Guest ParkingThere are two public parking lots conveniently located right next to MOXI. Both lots are free for the first 75 minutes and $1.50 every hour thereafter. Our Wedding

Seven years ago, we began our adventure together, and Santa Barbara became a big part of that journey. We are so looking forward to sharing this incredibly special place that we came to love with our closest friends and family, and we can't wait to have you be a part of such an unforgettable time in our lives! ❤️

Our Story

Getting to Santa Barbara

Flying into Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA)It is relatively easy and convenient to fly into Santa Barbara. Most of the major airline carriers offer routes into SBA with stops through hubs such as LAX, SFO, PHX, DEN and SLC. For those traveling from west coast cities, there are direct flight options. For those traveling from Chicago, United Airlines now offers one direct flight per day in the evenings. Southwest also now offers flights into Santa Barbara from DEN, OAK and LAS. Flight options from other cities are also available with a stop through one of those cities. Flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)Another option is to fly into LAX, rent a car and drive to Santa Barbara (approx. 95 miles; length of time will highly depend on traffic). If you have time to spare, we would suggest taking the scenic route via the Pacific Coast Highway and stopping in Malibu for lunch or dinner. While LAX will likely have the most flight options, it might also be worth checking out some of the smaller airports in the Southern California area like Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) in order to avoid some of the LAX-specific traffic. Flying into NorCal (SFO, OAK or SJC)For those looking to make a trip out of the drive and take the super scenic route, you can fly into Northern California and drive down Highway 1 through destinations such as Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur, San Luis Obispo and Solvang.

Accommodations Options

Below is a list of some hotel options that are either within walking distance of the wedding venue or a short car ride. This is not an exhaustive list, but many of the hotels are clustered right in downtown and easily searchable on a map. As many of these are independently owned properties, they may not all have availability on booking sites like Expedia or Booking.com so try checking their direct websites. Rates as of mid-January are pretty reasonable for the wedding weekend<a href="https://sbcastilloinn.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Castillo Inn at the Beach</a> ($$): Recently renovated hotel that is walking distance to the wedding venue and one block to the beach. We enjoyed a recent stay here during a visit to Santa Barbara<a href="https://beachsideinn.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Beachside Inn</a> ($$): Right on the waterfront with views of the beach and harbor. Walking to distance to everything downtown with newly renovated rooms<a href="https://www.theeagleinn.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Eagle Inn</a> ($$): A cute B&amp;B within walking distance to the wedding venue and main Santa Barbara attractions<a href="https://www.harborhouseinn.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Harbor House Inn</a> ($$): Homey boutique hotel one block from the beach and down the street from the wedding venue<a href="https://www.hotelmilosantabarbara.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Hotel Milo Santa Barbara</a> ($$$): Beachside hotel within walking distance of the wedding venue<a href="https://www.harborviewinnsb.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Harbor View Inn</a> ($$): Boutique hotel that has one building beach side and one building very close to the wedding venue. The North Wing rooms are newly built<a href="https://www.canarysantabarbara.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Kimpton Canary Hotel</a> ($$$$): Located in downtown Santa Barbara with a rooftop pool. Travel

I need wine

You've come to the right place! Santa Barbara is home to hundreds of great wineries and tasting rooms, many of which are located in the downtown area. The Urban Wine Trail includes 30+ tasting rooms that are nearly all walkable. The Funk Zone is a great place to spend the day wine tasting, shopping and eating...basically our three favorite things to do! To call out a few, Margerum and Au Bon Climat are our favorite local wineries, and both of them having tasting rooms downtown.

I need food

Equally notable to the wine is the growing food scene. There are plenty of great places in town, and below are a few handfuls of our faves: Downtown Santa Barbara RestaurantsFinney's Crafthouse &amp; Kitchen: Gastropub/sports bar with great food options, large draft beer selection and cocktails (Downtown)The Lark: New American fare featuring seasonal ingredients. We'd recommend making a reservation if you're interested in dining here. (Funk Zone)Lucky Penny: Casual wood-fired pizza spot that's a great pit stop during a wine crawl (Funk Zone)Loquita: Spanish tapas with delicious cocktails (Funk Zone)Helena Avenue Bakery: House-baked pastries, bread, breakfast and sandwiches (Funk Zone)Metropulos Fine Foods Merchant: Gourmet deli with custom-made sandwiches and fresh salads (Funk Zone)Tyger Tyger: Bright, colorful and casual Asian-inspired restaurant (Funk Zone)Santo Mezcal: Modern Mexican food with an extensive selection of mezcals and cocktails. We love the Margarita Picante! (Downtown)Brophy Bros.: Fresh seafood and drinks with great views of the city from the harbor. We'd recommend walking down Stearns Wharf, taking the Lil' Toot water taxi to the harbor (5 min. ride including a pit stop to see the sea lions) and getting food and drinks here. (Santa Barbara Harbor)Toma Restaurant &amp; Bar: Fine dining Italian restaurant with water front views and a solid dirty martini (Downtown)Boathouse at Hendry's Beach: Last but not least, this restaurant is a short car ride from downtown, but it is right on the beach with good food options and drinks. Due to its location, it's a popular spot among visitors and locals but doesn't take reservations. Speaking from personal experience, we'd recommend getting there to put your name down well before you reach the hangry stage. (Arroyo Burro Beach) Montecito RestaurantsLucky's: Classic American steakhouse that also has good dirty martinis (notice a theme of what we look for in a restaurant?)Honor Bar: Part of the Hillstone Restaurant Group with American cuisine and a cozy vibe

With the great weather and scenery, there is no shortage of things to do outside in Santa Barbara. Sandpiper Golf Course: Beautiful oceanfront golf courseKayak/Stand Up Paddle rentals: Rent a kayak or SUP and explore the harbor and nearby beachHike Inspiration Point: A moderate hike that ends with panoramic views of the city and oceanSanta Barbara County Courthouse: If you're interested in visiting here, let us know so that we can have you pick up our marriage license. Kidding! Life's a beach

Arroyo Burro Beach (Hendry's Beach): You'll see a lot of pups enjoying the ocean at this dog-friendly beach. Make sure to stop at Boathouse for food and/or drinks if you make it here.Butterfly Beach: Located across from the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara, which is a great spot for a drink!East Beach: Very close to downtown and an easy stroll to the harbor and Stearns WharfLeadbetter Beach: Popular spot for surfing, boogie boarding and SUP
