In June 2016 Upert & Anika met though Snapchat. I’d seen him a few times at the liquor store but it was never anything between the two of us. Upert was always quiet and reserved and Anika was loud and obnoxious. This combination made me believe in opposites attract because opposites, we were. After the first year we finally got serious and not only moved in together but found out we were pregnant with Giselle all within the same week. I am extremely happy with him and feel he has been devoted to his family & that’s what I love about him. He was set in his ways in the beginning, but over time I has watched him blossom more and more into the man that I not only wanted him to be, but needed him to be. The kids love the ground he walks on. I pray that we will grow old and raise our grandchildren together, & God will continue to bless the two of us and our family.
