Matt and I crossed paths shortly after college, with an uncanny connection that felt almost otherworldly. It’s fascinating to think about how we could have met sooner, given our circle of mutual friends and the perfect timing that seemed to align as we transitioned into adulthood.


At the time, I was working at The Ritz-Carlton in Naples, while Matt was in Fort Myers, preparing to embark on a new role in Naples that would allow us to spend more time together. Our connection blossomed swiftly, and from there, life took us on an incredible journey to Utah. In the beautiful surroundings of Montage Deer Valley, I advanced my career in hospitality, while we embraced the local culture, frequenting hidden speakeasies, navigating snowstorms together, and bundled up by the fireside to enjoy Robbers Roost Bourbon. It was here that we discovered our love for fly fishing and picnics!


Soon, life led us to the sun-drenched landscapes of Arizona, where we settled at the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. We traded snow-capped peaks for vibrant cacti and basked in the warmth of the Sonoran sun. However, as much as we enjoyed our time there, our hearts longed for home and the desire to establish a more permanent life together.


Our journey ultimately brought us back to Naples, where we now work just a mile apart, filled with excitement and anticipation. As we prepare to celebrate our love with a beautiful wedding in Italy, we look forward to creating our forever journey together, hand in hand, as we embrace the adventure that lies ahead.
