Jacob and Anita met in 2009 while they were both working at the 99 Restaurant, Jacob as a line cook and Anita as a waitress. They instantly clicked and were together for many weeks, then over sushi, Jacob and Anita made it official and have been inseparable ever since.

Jacob proposed by surprising Anita in Italy while she was there for a family trip. With the help from her family, Jacob secretly traveled to Europe and met Anita—his girlfriend of seven years— on top of a medieval castle in her family's hometown of Itri and popped the question.

They are very excited to begin their life together and kick it off with their wedding on October 8, 2017!
