The Nigerian Ceremony will be held on Friday evening indoors. The Wedding Ceremony on Saturday will be taking place outdoors at White Oaks Vineyard.

As much as we love your little ones, our ceremony and reception will be adults-only except for the immediate family members of the bride and groom.

We have hired an amazing photographer to capture all of the special moments of the evening. As such, we kindly ask that you keep our phones and cameras away during the ceremony. During cocktail hour, dinner and reception, feel free to snap away!

A spokesman for the groom's family will approach the bride's family to formally introduce his family and explain the purpose of their visit. From there, the groom's family will engage in a negotiation, seeking permission for her hand in marriage. At the completion of the negotiation, when the bride is to be given in marriage, there will be a celebration with dinner and dancing. Nigerian culture includes "money spraying" by the guests to the newly wedded couple. Showering the couple in cash is a way for those present to show appreciation and honor. This tradition symbolizes a display of the guests' affection for the couple and the families. This will take place at Lanier Island Wedding 7000 Lanier Islands Pkwy, Buford, GA 30518.

Only the guests listed on your invitation are invited to join us for the wedding and reception, they will be the only people we can accommodate! Thank you for understanding! If you are unsure when you RSVP on the website it will have the names of those invited!

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Please plan to be seated by 4:15 PM. Late arrivals will not be admitted into the ceremony to ensure a smooth start!

The ceremony will be held outdoors and reception will be held indoors.
