Let me be very honest here, I was not planning on getting engaged so soon. I was just 23 when I enrolled in all those matrimonial websites. This was mainly because my mother, Mrs.Gracy Prince who thought that it was time to start searching for a good guy for her daughter. I enrolled in almost all the christian matrimonial websites. The best part was that, I was handling all the accounts. After 1 or 2 months in the website, I was pretty disappointed to find that I haven't found a single interesting person.

And it all started with an interest from Cyril in Kerala Christian Matrimony website. I accepted is interest, however I did not see any response for 2 days. For the first time I liked someone and there is no response? I was pretty disappointed. Therefore, on the 22nd of February 2019 I decided to send him a message in Facebook.

That’s how we started chatting and it lead to us talking for hours day and night. And finally we decided to let our parents know that we intent to get married. Our parents saw each other and were happy to proceed with the engagement. We both planned our travel from Canada and Qatar respectiely.

And finally we met in person for the first time after the long wait at the Bangalore airport. And that's our first pic together. We got few hours to talk to each other. And had to part our ways to our families for engagement prep.

On my birthday, we got engaged in the presence our our families and loved ones.

The struggle was real. It took us a year to get him to Canada. COVID-19 made everyone's lives hard including ours. Sorry for the blurry picture.

Nothing comes easy to you in Canada. It took him some time to get used Canada. We had to switch a couple of jobs to get into a comfortable position. However, we did find some time to have fun.
