Anjee’s first love is basketball so it was only suiting that her first encounter with the love of her life was while playing the sport that she loves. It was both their first year at UNLV when they met on the basketball court at the school gym. Rodel is not much of a basketball player, but when he first laid eyes on Anjee entering the gym, he knew he had to meet her. There was no better way to break the ice than to ask her to play on his team. Their first encounter was being teammates on the court not knowing years later they would be teammates for life. From basketball to boba they both were inseparable all throughout their college years. To see one without the other was a rare sight. It was on January 11, 2010 when Rodel officially asked Anjee to be his girlfriend. A decade later and Rodel has now asked Anjee to be his wife.
