2012....

Anjelika and Nathan met in their third-grade class at Global Village Academy...

2015 + 2018...

Anjelika and Nathan ran into each other at Blagodat Church summer camp...

2019-2021....

ever since those events, there was a long period of time where Nate and Anjelika had no contact in person.

Although, at times, Nathan appeared in Anjelika's snapchat messages asking her to send pictures of her new dog Maverick - but that was the extent of their friendship for a while...

September 3rd 2023...

Ralston Hills youth took a trip to Spokane Washington - and it so happened that Nathan's dad was a guest speaker at the church we were visiting.

So, Nathans dad took the whole family along to Spokane.

As some may know, Anjelika is a singer, and she was preparing to sing a solo song at the church in Spokane.

While she made arrangements for a friend to record her solo, that friend never showed up to service.

Anjelika didn't have any other options for anyone to record her song, as all her other options wouldn't have a good shot. But, she noticed Nathan in the crowd.

She hadn't talked to Nathan in years, but she still had his phone number in her phone from previous events. So, she texted Nathan and asked him to record her song from the audience...

After church service...

Anjelika and Nathan met up to exchange the video. They made small talk for a while but eventually had to split to their own plans...but their conversation wasn't over.

All night....

While Anjelika was hanging out with her friends and Nathan's family was already driving back to Colorado...The two of them texted all night and into the next day.

After Spokane...

Their conversations became more sparce but nevertheless continued every few days. Nathan asked for advice on how to evangelize to a coworker. Anjelika talked to him about her schooling and hobbies.

Anjelika also promoted her Bible study group and invited Nathan to start attending the weekly studies. Of course, Nathan said yes and regularly attended.

September 23rd 2023...

During one of the conversations between the two, Nathan was telling Anjelika about his hobbies such as fishing and taking long walks around Golden, CO.

Then Nathan says: "Have you been to Golden recently?"

Anjelika: "Not really, its been awhile since I explored"

Nathan: "what if we go together sometime? we can take a walk around nature and get some coffee on the way to Bible study"

That marked their first date.

On their third date, Nate asked Anjelika to officially be his girlfriend.

November 23rd 2024....

Nathan, Anjelika and 3 of the current bridesmaids went snowboarding with a big group of people.

On the way back from Keystone resort, Nate decided to take a "shortcut" through Loveland Pass. On the way up, Nate claimed he heard some "rattling" with the ski racks so he had to make a stop.

He conveniently stopped at a scenic overlook and the other girls in the car decided to take this chance while "Nate was fixing the ski rack" to take some pictures.

Anjelika's friends suggested me and Nate take a picture together - and that is when Nate got on one knee and popped the question.

Anjelika said yes!

June 21st 2025.....

Nathan and Anjelika gather with their closest family and friends to celebrate their union in marriage in front of God.

A new chapter begins with the new Pavounko family.
