Ann Casey grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and Taran grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, with family roots in Cody, Wyoming.

We met in January 2021 after Ann Casey moved to Fort Collins for graduate school. We got engaged in Fort Collins with both our families present on Thanksgiving Day 2023 at Taran's parents' house.

We are so excited to celebrate joining our western and southern roots in Birmingham in October! We hope you can join us.
