It may be cold, but the drive will be beautiful. Head on up the blue ridge parkway and see many overlooks of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It will take your breath away! Along the Blue Ridge there are many hiking sites such as Sharp Top and the Peaks of Otter. Reach out to Collins and I if you need anymore suggestions on where to explore!
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lynchburg, VA! This trail connects all the way to downtown, right along the Blackwater Creek. There are many different entrances for this trail, so if you are staying downtown, check out the Percival's Island entrance! There are many trails alongside of the creek and beyond to explore. Perfect for a walk, jog, or bike ride!
Need a little brunch after your walk?! Come on in and enjoy a delicious meal! Our favorite is the sunrise skillet :)
If you still want to be moving and grooving and add a little history to the day, check out Thomas Jefferson's private retreat and plantation at Poplar Forest. This home was his getaway from public scrutiny. Schedule a visit and tour and walk on up to this beautiful home in Virginia!
After your activities settle into a cozy coffee shop. If you are a coffee lover this place is exceptional, but they only have little pastries so if you are hungry I would go somewhere else. My personal favorite is the Colleen.
A wonderful breakfast spot located in the Rivermont Area right by our church!
There are many wonderful restaurants in downtown Lynchburg! A couple of our favorites are bootleggers, the batter bar, skyline, waterstone pizza, Aji Ramen and Sushi, bacon street bagels, and the Dahlia.
