Our mothers were sorority sisters and friends in college. Tyler actually attended my older brother's baby shower. We officially met as adults at a wedding in Houston in April, 2022. My nanny was the mother of the bride. She's another of our moms' sorority sisters! We started dating in May, 2022. Tyler lived in Austin, TX and I lived in New Orleans, LA for the first year we dated. Tyler proposed at my family's annual beach trip in Rosemary Beach, Florida in July, 2023. Both of our families were there to celebrate the special moment with us. We are so blessed and grateful for our wonderful families' support!
