We have to say we can actually blame how we met on insurance - one of the many things we have in common...

One random day in October 2014, the 21st day to be the exact, Ann flew to Wausau, Wisconsin from Charlotte, North Carolina for a property fire training lab. On that same day, Heath drove from Ashland, Wisconsin to Wausau, Wisconsin for client meetings. The same night, Ann went to Great Dane Brewery with some coworkers. Heath also went to the same brewery and noticed Ann from across the bar (how cliche, we know.) They began talking and instantly discovered the many things in common. They exchanged numbers and went their way. A few days later, they began talking again. Before they knew it, Ann flew up to Milwaukee to visit Heath. A month later, Heath flew to Charlotte. Six months later, Heath moved to the beautiful Queen City. On May 14, 2016, Heath proposed in their favorite park, a place that Ann took him on his first visit to the city, Romare-Bearden Park.

After that, the rest is history and the best is yet to come.
