Both Carson and Ann were born and raised in Mercer County. As they were both interested in the same hobbies of showing and judging livestock their families traveled the United States, and a friendship was built. It wasn't until the summer of 2021 that their life stages matched up to grow a stronger friendship. Then Ann left for college in August of 2021 to attend WIU in Macomb, IL. It then became a place where Carson could be found ... OFTEN. The rest was history from there. In January of 2022, Carson and Ann officially started dating. In May of 2023, Ann graduated college and moved in with Carson and Vaughn. Just as their friendship began it was the most fitting proposal on December 7th in the show cattle barn. Of course, it was cold, they were in their dirty work clothes and a tad on the tired side. As Carson, Vaughn, and Ann prepared for a cattle show, it was quite a surprise to Ann as she turned around and found Carson down on one knee with Vaughn at his side. We are ecstatic to officially become a family of 3 and continue making memories together.
