During December, Charleston Place feels straight out of a Christmas movie, and it’s one of our favorite spots this time of year! The lobby is decked out with twinkling lights, gorgeous garlands, and the most beautiful Christmas tree. If you have time, stop by!

If you’re looking for a cozy spot to grab a drink, we highly recommend stopping by The Palmetto Hotel. It’s a chic boutique hotel with a great atmosphere, and they happen to make the best espresso martini in Charleston (according to the bride, and she knows her espresso martinis!). Whether you’re grabbing a nightcap or just stopping in to relax, it’s worth a visit!

If you’re looking to squeeze in a round of golf while in town, you're in luck — one of the groom’s favorite spots is just across the bridge! Patriots Point Links offers stunning waterfront views of Charleston Harbor and a laid-back Lowcountry vibe that makes for a perfect morning or afternoon on the course.

For brunch, we highly recommend Miller’s All Day—it’s one of our favorites! It has a relaxed vibe and serves up delicious Southern comfort food, like crispy fried chicken and amazing grits. It’s the perfect spot to start your day and a local favorite!

For a great oyster experience, we can’t recommend The Darling enough! It’s one of our favorite spots in Charleston for oysters, served fresh and perfectly prepared. The vibe is cozy yet modern, and they have a variety of delicious options if you're looking to try something a little different. A must-visit if you're an oyster fan!

Shem Creek is one of our favorite spots in town. Grab a drink at Red’s or Saltwater Cowboys, watch the boats go by, and soak in the Charleston views—we think you’ll love it as much as we do. You might even recognize it from Outer Banks, which was filmed here!

If you’re a Southern Charm fan like the bride, be sure to check out By the Way Downtown—owned by cast members Craig and Austen. It’s a great spot for cocktails and good food right in the heart of Charleston.

For a dose of Charleston’s rich history and charm, hop on a carriage tour with Old South Carriage Company. It’s a relaxing and scenic way to explore downtown’s cobblestone streets and historic homes.
