To make our special day even more meaningful, we wanted to honor both of our families. Before even calling the venue we knew when and where we wanted to get married.

August 16th holds a special place in Anna’s heart because that is the day her grandparents (Carole and Gary Gilfillan) got married. Anna always admired their relationship and sharing an anniversary with such an amazing couple would be an honor. When we realized that this summer August 16th falls on a Saturday, it felt like it was meant to be.

The venue itself is also significant. We are thrilled that we get to have our wedding in the same location that Andrew’s parents got married.
