Getting to Westhampton

AIRPORT

If you are flying in, we would recommend flying into JFK or Laguardia (LGA) Airports to avoid the drive through downtown New York. To get out to Westhampton from the airport, the best option would be to rent a car for the weekend. Other options include taking a cab to a Long Island Railroad train station (Jamaica is the closest stop), or taking a cab to a Hampton Jitney bus stop (more information is available on the Hampton Jitney website).

All of these vineyards offer tastings - just be sure to check their business hours before you go.

Cupsogue is a beautiful, publicly accessible beach located in Westhampton Dunes. Entrance includes a $15 parking fee.

Favorites include <a href="http://indianislandcountryclub.com/" target="_blank">Indian Island Country Club</a>, <a href="http://www.cherrycreeklinks.com/" target="_blank">Cherry Creek Golf Links</a>, and <a href="http://www.greatrockgolfclub.com/" target="_blank">Great Rock Golf Club</a>. Rates for a round of golf start at around $30.

Quogue Wildlife Refuge is a 300 acre non-profit Nature Preserve that is open daily, free of charge, from sunrise to sunset. Stop by to visit the resident bobcat, or take a quiet walk through the refuge's seven mile walking trail.
